Hm... it seems like a lot of "data entry at home" jobs out there are very scammy. I did do data entry as a student, but it was based in the company's offices - not at home.

i agree, you have to be careful looking for this type of job...i know several people who have tried, all for nothing in the end
I've tried everything from PTC (got ripped off) to doing online surveys. I've heard stories about people making hundreds of dollars a month, but I honestly can't see how.

Seems like Data Entry is getting more popular these days because of the recession. One tip I can give you is to start at a small income in order to get a job fast and then gain experience so that when you are experienced enough, you can go for a higher pay rate and a bigger Data Entry jobs to gain larger income.
